I think that this is a great band that will continue to get better. They have a symphonic metal element without the ridiculous cheese factor of bands such as Rhapsody. Their sound is based on heavy vocal arrangements over great instrumentation. Their vocals are a probably closer to the Scorpions than anyone else-excellent range and very powerful and melodic. One thing that they might improve on is variation in song tempo. They have much more diversity than most other bands in this genre but I am a drummer and the Fast 32nd note double bass drum beats which remind me of 90% of Rhapsody's songs is my pet peeve. There are a few of these but not as many as most. I like this band better than most-I think that their talent as musicians and writers will push them way up on the metal heap! If you like this-try these albums. Symphony X-Any, Nightwish-Oceanborn, Star One,Pagan's Mind-new cd, and Dream Theater-Train of Thought( their best by far)-Buy it!
