One of the best metal bands ever!

When I first bought this I was apprehensive. I only had one of their songs, Land of the Free, and I thought it was pretty good, but it sounded like so many other bands... But when the CD came in I was amazed.
This album has nearly element I consider essential to music.
1. It has great harmonies in every song.
2. It isn't just drums, guitar, bass, and voice. There's tons of stuff going on in the background(a trait sadly lacking in most new music).
3. The lyrics are great: intelligent and intuitive.
4. All their songs are interesting the whole way through.
5. The cover art is great! While I don't consider this essential, I still would have bought this album just for the amazing art on the cover.

All in all, this band rocks. If you like bands like Queensryche or Dream Theater, you'll love this band.
