A masterpiece for sure

Being one of my favorite power metal bands, i'm sure I have reviewed this before or maybe not but I just want to say that everyone seems to hate the little intro to the fourth song. WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT? That intro rules! So what if it's corny, last time i checked this whole frickin cd was corny, as is the whole genre of power metal. Trust me folks, the intro is cool. That old dude pops up throughout the whole cd and he rules! He is talking to a woman in song 4 and she sounds extremely confused, as if it really happened. She's a great actor, tell you me.

Everyone seems so quick to mention that corny intro but no one even mentions the sometimes corny lyrics of this band. Examples

"Standing in the cold night air, without underwear" (from track 7)

"While your sleeping, i still your ear ring" (From track 4, the same song that has the corny intro. Everyone mentions the intro to this song but not that above mentioned lyric!) BWAHAHAHAHAH

Aside from a few corny lyric spots, this album's lyrics are very mature, especially for a power metal band. That's right folk, sonata arctica is a power metal band that doesn't sing about wizards, towns folk, dragons, or (gasp) steel!

A power metal band that doesn't mention steel? BLASPHEMY! HAHAHAHAHA!
