Sonata Arctica is a Finnish group. They make great melodic music. This is their first album. Great vocalist & keyboardist, Tony Kakko, guitarist Jani Liimatainen, drummer Tommy portimo and basist Jani are a great group! This group comes from Kemi.The first track "Blank File" is a fast track and there's great vocals. There's so fast music that sometimes Tony Kakko has difficulties to sing it but he is very good in this studio traxk. This is a story about computers and internet. 4.75/5 "My Land" is a little bit slower, it offers great moments. It's one of their most popular live track ever. 5/5 "8th Commandment" is a fast track, very heavy 4.5/5 "Replica" is a slow one. There's great lyrics, very touching song. 5/5 "Kingdom for a Heart" is a fast track again. There's great lyrics. What does it tell about? Is it a love song or what? Well, you have to listen to it for yourself. 5/5 "FullMoon" is a great track. Great lyrics. 5/5 "Letter to Dana" is a peaceful ballad. It has good lyrics, very tough ones! 4.5/5 "UnOpened" is a single track. It has great keyboards. It is almost like Stratovarius' "Black Diamond" 5/5 "Picturing the Past" is a fast track, almost like "8th Commandment" both lyrucally and musically 4/5 "Destruction Preventer" tells about the end of the world. It is very good musically. It has varying melodies. 4.5/5
