Very misunderstood

First of all, I got the remastered version of this album. It comes in a box set with oceanborn. It's the same as the old version except it's got an extra track and it's remastered of course. It's so great, very clear.

This is nightwish's first album and it's the one with the most folk influence. As with a lot of debuts, this one has song structures that every from song to song and each song sounds different. I feel this is waaaaaaaaay better than oceanborn which is so overrated that I don't even want to review it.

Tuomas sings a little on this cd, he sounds great. Here on this album, the bands just tends to be a metal band with female vocals, rather than their later efforst which are obviously power metal.

not my favorite nightwish, that goes to century child or wishmaster but this one is really good. I highly suggest it.
