I've started listening to Nightwish with the album Wishmaster then Oceanborn and now I got this one. Great beginning with great guitar solos and great synth. But if you are new to Nightish don't start with this, because it will not stick in your mind. Here is the rating to all songs:Elvenpath: Nice intro to a great album, but the male voice is kinda annoying. Rating: 4.5/5 Beauty And The Beast: One of my favorite Nightwish songs. Loved Toumas's voice and this song is so energatic. Beautiful. Rating: 5/5 The Carpenter: Nice, not wow. Toumas sings most of the song in this one only a small part Tarja sings alone. Rating: 4.5/5 Astral Romance: Beautiful riffs in the beginning and it ends with a beautiful guitar solo with keyboards. Rating: 5/5 Angels Fall First: This song is made by an acoustic guitar and it is played beautifully and melodicolly. Loved this track. Rating 5/5. Tutankhamen: My second favorite song on the album. I love the part in the chorus when Tarja sing "Sacrifice me Tutankhamen" and ending it with a beautiful guitar solo. Rating 5/5. Nymphomanic Fantasia: Get introduced to an evil version of Tarja. I like it when Tarja sings an evil song, but I didn't like the flutes in the end. 4.5/5 Know Why The Nightengale Sings: My favorite song on the album with a 2 minutes guitar solos in the end. Nice vocals too. Rating: 5/5 Lappi (Lapland): A song made of four parts. The first one is sung by the Finnish language with beautiful acoustic. Then, it transforms into a minute and a nineteen second with drums with some special effects. Then, a song in English and finishing with an instrumental acoustic with Tarja chanting. All in all it is cool. Rating 4.5/5 It is a cool beginnig to a great band's journey to reach their success, but yet the best album is Wishmaster. Chill with this album.
