Ok first off I would like to tell all the people who are ragging on this album, shut up! if the album is bad to you don't go around giving it a bad name to everyone else. I'm a big Metallica fan and I don't think this is there best album but it's a good one. It's almost like there first two Kill 'em all and Ride The Lighting. When I got this album yea they did change certain songs and I'll admit it is long but I like the fact that Lars shows how fast he can go on the drums in St. Anger. The Unnamed Felling has it's lyrics put together well and Metallica is a swearing band, they aren't like System of a down, which I also like, but Soad is a band who rags on government so how can you compare them to Metallica. Metallica sings about alot of stuff, emotions, feelings you name it they probably have a song about it. The fact is this album is a Metallica album so it isn't different than S&M or Load, or Reload. The songs are different but they are the same as msot albums, cause it's metallica. Now on to the songs, as I was saying before St. Anger is a good song. Lars does the drums fast and for being 43 or so he cans till play those things well. Jame still ahs his singing voice too. It's surprising how long Metallica has been around and still can play. Kirk doesn't have alot of solos in this album but they can still play. Shoot me again has a mini solo but hey don't most albums get those songs? Some kind of monster has great guitar rthym and so does Sweet Amber and Purify. Frantic is alright I personally don't like it. The rest of the song sare pretty self explained. Overall I need to say a few things. First don't rag this album. Second I agree I think the next album should be more like there old stuff. 8 songs, hour of music and long solos. perhaps they should do something Like Master of Puppets with Bass solo or And justice for all with another song like One. But its up to them not us.
