St. Anger is a 3 star album (I gave it 5 stars to compensate for the morons on this site). The sound quality is below average and some of the songs drag on but its not nearly as bad as most people make it out to be. Much like America itself, in this day and age people love to see the big powers in the world fall. In metal music, Metallica is that super-power. So Metallica tried something different this time with their music, big deal! Metallica is one of the only bands in this genre that has the balls and talent to change their style each album. That is how they stay relevant unlike most metal bands that barely change chord progressions from album to album. Metallica is one of the best metal bands of all time and St. Anger is just the another step in their legacy. I can't wait to see whats coming next.
