This was an album that i waited for a long time to listen. I would love to have been there to witness metallica perform the best show ever. Unlike others who claim to be fans of metallica, i had great faith in the capabilities of metallica, that i ventured to say at that time, metallica is just the band to pull off a stunt like this. They have the type of music that can fit in anywhere. Now to go to more important matters like the album, i think there should have been more space for unforgiven 1 & 2. The output on the cd is not as good as being really there as some of the songs have lots of singing by the crowd. That gets a bit irritating. but if u play it loud enough and sing along with the crowd, u feel the energy flowin through you. i garentee it that u'll enjoy the best ever onstage show recorded. One of the unique features of this album is that it was done without any practice. It was sort of a "go play and harmonize", just like that. Nothing else matters was even better than the original. That should be enough persuasion for anyone to buy this album. The hero of the day was excellent onstage with the ochestra led by Micheal Kamen. The ochestra was perfectly jibing in with the notes of perfect metal. Buy this album if you are a metallica fan and if ur not buy it anyway caus itz worth havin. it can really make u appreciate this album.
