How should one start to discuss this album? This is definitively the first album ever made which combines a heavy metal band (the best...) with a symphony orchestra (the best..this one I don't know for shure...) that WORKS, i.e. the balance between the two elements is so good that it is simply amazing. Thanks to Michael Kamen for the arrangements, they are stunning. The album is for me the best EVER MADE. It doesn't pay off to go into more details about individual pieces of music since even the weaker parts are so good I would not want to miss out on them. If I could rate one album more than 5 stars, it would be this one. As many other reviewers, I also would have liked to see The Unforgiven I & II and some other pieces of music, but hey, maybe we'll be surprised with that in a future follow-up (I hope!!!) My personal favorite parts are Fuel-The Memory Remains-No Leaf Clover(!!)-Hero Of the Day-Bleeding Me(!!)-For Whom The Bell Tolls- -HUMAN - Wherever I May Roam-Outlaw Torn (!!!!)-One(!!)-Enter Sandman. If you didn't get this one, just buy it. Don't play it just once, please try more times. The music has so many layers, contrapoints and melodies that you'll only get the true depth in time. AND ALL THIS IN A LIVE CONCERT. I only wonder how this would sound in a studio recording...
