This live album recorded at the Berkeley Community Theatre in Berkeley, CA is absolutely amazing! The San Francisco Symphony adds so much to Metallica's musical brilliance. The live album features old songs from the 80's as well as songs off the Black Album, Load and ReLoad! The Call of Ktulu is probably the most beautiful song off the album, followed by the intense Master of Puppets. Fuel sounded a lot better than the single off of ReLoad. James seemed to have forgotton the 2nd verse of The Thing That Should Be. I loved the songs off of Load which include Hero of the Day, Bleeding Me and Until it Sleeps. One of my favorites was One, from ...And Justice For All. Wherever I May Roam sounds great along with the awesome ending with Battery. James voice is very impressive throughout the whole album. A lot of non Metallica fans that I know really like this cd, because of the sound the symphony brings in. All Metallica fans will like this album. It is great, and the DVD of S&M is also worth owning. Finally, Metallica, one of the best hard rock bands of all time continue to do what they do best: Play awesome live concers.
