The first thing you notice when you listen to S & M is the abnormally great sound quality of the CD. Most live stuff has such bad sound, but this sounds very clear, and you can hear everything from James' voice to the harp player way in the back! Lars' drumming is amazing, and it comes through very loud on the CD. Metallica chose a great setlist for the concert, with a lot of old school stuff, plus a lot of load/reload stuff. They all sound GREAT with the symphony. Call of Ktulu was meant to be played with the orchestra, and The Thing That Should Not Be doesn't sound as good on my MOP CD anymore without the symphony! Bellz and Sad But True are also awesome with the symphony. My favorite is either devil's dance or outlaw torn....or master of puppets. They're all amazing and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys good quality music. Metallica is the best band, and this is another reason why!
