This two CD set is packed full of Metallica's greatest hits plus two new tunes. But, there is a slight twist. The San Francisco Symphony Orchestra "sits in" with Michael Kamen at the helm. I wouldn't consider S&M as "heavy" as their previous albums, but I would consider it more fun to listen to all around. Encompassing the intuitive conductorship of Michael Kamen and Metallica's crunchy riffs into one great album, this is worth every penny. Also, there is a S&M DVD if you'd like to watch the action.
