If it weren't for Master of Puppets, this would be the best Metallica album made. The song writing is great, the lyrics are excellent, even though they are very dark, talking about death and escaping. The best stuff by Metallica is their early stuff, and this is a pick-up you must make. Awesome material on Ride the Lightning!
