This is Metallica's best album, in my opinion. Compared to Load and Reload, which SUCK (come to think of it, so do Garage, the black album and St. Anger)its the bestest and they barely sound like the same band. Fight Fire with Fire - very scary, about the end of the world which is so scary but also awesome... i like how it starts out quiet but ends up really really really loud! Ride the Lightning - solo is okay, like the about to die thing. For Whom the Bell Tolls - intro awesome. I like the message, especially the line "for a hill men would kill, why they do not know" Fade to Black - this is like the best song ever! It's awesome because its really slow and sad and about suicide but the guitar is still awesome, both the acoustic and the other one sometimes int he backround. Trapped Under Ice - again, the dying thing is very interesting. awesome song! Escape - very good, just haven't listened to this one in awhile, hee hee Creeping Death - awesome!!!! i especially love the part where they scream "die by my hand..." i hope when i see them live they do that because it sounds really good very, very, very loud. The Call of Ktulu - am I supposed to know what "ktulu" is???? their best instrumental!! make sure you listen to this album really loud. it's their best. i wish burton wasn't dead.
