'Ride the Lightning' is a first sign of Metallica molding into a true form and emerging as one of the greatest bands of this generation. The best songs include 'Ride the Lightning', 'Fade to Black', 'Creeping Death', and the awesome and haunting instrumental 'Call of the Ktulu'.
