This is one of my favorite Metallica albums in my collection and it's a real heavy one. It's a little different from Kill 'Em All because it's not straight ahead all the time. It's still has those heavy, brutal, intense, furious, thrashing, smashing, bashing, all-out, in-your-face, pulverizing metal riffs that Metallica could only deliever but there's also some dynamics, musicianship, melody and some accustic passages. There's some slow and mid-placed songs as well as fast brutal songs but it's all heavy and brutal. So no one will be dissapointed. It has it all. Some of the best songs here are Fight Fire With Fire, Ride The Lightning, Escape, Creeping Death and The Call Of Ktulu. Get this album and get shocked.
