This is one of Metallica's pure best. Classic songs, good lyrics, adrenaline, and youth. The band was really coming together with this one. No MTV to sell to, little real radio support, this was the boys pounding out some of their best songs. Some of them are a little rough around the edges, production quality and musicianship reached its best with the next album, but this one is very good.
