This is justa kick-ass album. While I don't hold it in the same high esteem as Master of Puppets, Ride the Lighting is amazing. The first song (Fight Fire With Fire) is probably the worst song on the album and even it is a good song. The middle of the CD presents one of Metallica's 3 great masterpiece songs, "For Whom the Bell Tolls" (the other 2 being "Master of Puppets" and "One"). "Trapped Under Ice" and "Fade to Black" are also two of the more notable songs on the track. I find it really difficult to compare this album to anything but Master of Puppets because the sound is so uniquely Metallica's. This is necessity for any fan of hard rock.
