When this album was first released in 1991, many fans were angry at Metallica for straying away from their speed metal roots. But I feel they sound better like this, actually. It is one of my favorite albums, because I feel it has everything a good heavy metal album needs: Heavy guitars, thumping drums/bass, plus some growled vocals. This album gave Metallica 3 (yes, 3) Top 40 hits, all of which are some of the best songs on the album. They are: Enter Sandman, Nothing Else Matters, and The Unforgiven. Buy this, u won't be sorry.
