Yeah, it's a sellout album. Who cares? I would, except for the fact that beneath the "yeah, yeah, yeahs" and "hey, hey, heys", there is some considerable songwriting skills used and, can I say that Unforgiven is one of Metallica's greatest achievements, not because of the guitarwork; it's not technical. Not because of the ratings; there were none, but because of the feel of it, the lyrics, the power, the pain, the slow-and-simple epic and beautiful riffs..... Enter Sandman is great, but gets old after a while. Kicks when played live though. Simpler song structures, no technicality, no speed, but some good catchy tunes, that stick in your head for days. Even though the songs are mostly all good, some are too commercial and they just get old very quickly becasue of the lack of technicality.Everything changed with this release, I don't know why they sold out because they were huge in the first place and would have been twice as popular then this ever made them had they releases a few more albums likewise to Master of Puppets and ....And Justice For All. A good buy, worthy of many a collection, but not essential.
