Old heavy Metal days

Yes this is the album that hardcore Metallica fans say they sold out, because all of the commercials and it just wasn't the old hardcore thrash old Metallica sounds from albums like "Master of puppets". But I still think this is the best Metallica album out of them all. Songs out of this album like "Enter Sandman" and "Sad but true" are awesome hardcore heavy metal songs. I guess it was probably the song "Nothing Else Matters" with the violins that fit the mood that brought heavy metal fans down. They didn't get what they wanted. But I love the song "Nothing Else Matters". It is an awesome song, not heavy metal, but still great.

The way they commercialized their first sing "Enter Sandman", which is a great song but no one liked the way they commercialized it. But to me it is still an amazing song. The first song I ever heard from Metallica was "Enter Sandman, and when I did, my music taste changed forever. I love this band very much, and the band deserved its spot on #2 on the 22 greatest bands list special they had on MTV, because Nirvana did deserve #1, and I like Nirvana better than Metallica. But either way Metallica is still an amazing hardcore band, which brought a new noise to the generation of music. And plus this album was ranked #4 on the 22 greatest albums of all time. So it evens out, sort of.

But after listening to the album I don't think Metallica sold out. I just think they took the next level, as Kirk Hammet would say. But he is right though, they just needed a new sound, which they perfected very well. Metallica just moved from the 80's to the 90's. Like in 1995 especially people called them sellouts because that's the year they cut their hair. There was no more long hair, and as heavy metal fans would say no more old school Metallica. This is a great cd if you want to listen to heavy metal songs from the 90's. Including the soft center song, if your in the mood for it, "Nothing Else Matters". Which that song I love. A must get.
