Master Of Puppets

(Average Rating: 9.62 out of 10)

Best Metal CD ever? Possibly.

(Rated this album with 10 out of 10)

Nowadays, I'm more of a Megadeth/Iron Maiden fan, I use to be a metallica nut back then when I first got into them. However, this album still is my top 5 fav album of all time even after I listen to it 7000 times. The title track is the best metal song ever. Let me break it down song by song.

Battery - 9.5/10
Beautiful intro, and then comes the kick ass thrash, one of the best solo ever, and concluding with heart pouding drum, courtesy of Mr.Lars Ulrich.

Master of Puppets - 100/10
Need I say more? Best metal song ever. Immortal intro, godly chorus, the most beautiful instrumental interlude, concludes with few killing riffs and an evil laughter.

The Thing That Should Not Be - 9/10
One of the HEAVIEST song back then, even today. Influenced tons of doom/goth metal band. The only con here is the slow chrus.

Sanitarium - 9/10
This is the most weird and soothing intro I've ever heard. Over all an excellent ballad, but it's no Fade to Black. And it's a bit repetitive, but it's still really excellent.

Disposable Hero - 10/10
Wow, what can I say? The intro drum beat proves Lars actually CAN play double drum. The most thrashy song ever, and the lyric makes you wonder about war, and how cruel it actually is.

Leper Messiah - 9/10
I don't know why people hate this song. Ok, so this is the weaker track, but still is really really awesome. The heavy riff and the chorus make nu-metal seem like utter crap than they already are. And the theme of the song is true to the core, TV Evangelist = greedy f**ks who only wants $.

Orion - 10/10
One of the best metal instrumental, and certain is metallica's best. The interlude bass solo of Cliff Burton (RIP) is one of the best bass solo I've ever heard.

Damage Inc - 10/10
Again, very underrated. This is actually one of the thrashest and heaviest metal song of all time, the solo is A+, the drum and the riff goes together so well. I actually like this song more than battery.

There you have it, the best metal CD of all time. If you're a metalhead and doesn't own this album, go throw away all your metal cds. It's like telling people you like grunge but you do not own Nevermind.
