I pity the people who say that Metallica lacks talent; they obviously haven't listened to music long enough. I'm not saying they are the greatest band that was ever formed, but if you can seriously tell me that the material on this and most of their CDs requires little or no talent then you are ignorant and a horrible judge of talent.......PERIOD!! Not only do they have talent, they have musicianship that most heavy metal bands simply do not. They know not only how to solo but where. Tempos vary to make things interesting, but they are never choppy to the point where the listener cannot follow the shaping of a phrase. All of the pieces fall right into place; particularly on this album. What else can you ask for? Also, to the moron who worships Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit over Metallica, you should know that Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit are really what's wrong with metal these days: rap + metal = horrible music!! (hell, anything with rap sucks; is it really coincidence that if you add a "c" you get "crap"?)
