INFO: This is the American release of the Hero Of The Day Single. The tracks include: Track 01: Hero Of The Day (4:22) (From the album LOAD) Track 02: Kill/Ride Medley (LIVE) (10:17) (A 6-song Medley from the albums KILL 'EM ALL and RIDE THE LIGHTNING; featuring Ride The Lightning, No Remorse, Hit The Lights, The Four Horsemen, Phantom Lord, and Fight Fire With Fire.) REVIEW: Hero Of The Day is an excellent song that takes place in a somewhat happy, quiet, green little town, but a man remembers thrashing memories from his past. The change from quiet, peaceful music to the thrashing chorus showcases a great mood swing, especially for the listener. The Kill/Ride Medley, performed live, lacks the quality recording Metallica has come to be known for with the release of LOAD, however is very fun to listen to if you are a fan of their pre-LOAD albums. If not, it's still worth the 3 bucks to have this CD.
