They went pop is what happened! The more they played for the radio and not for their longtime fans, the more of the original Metallica was lost. They used to be a great band, this is not one of their best ep's by any stretch of the imagination. If you liked the first 4 albums, don't bother with this. If you like their recent stuff have at it. They've slowed down in their old age and this was the omen of things to come.
