If you are a Metallica fan like myself who loves their early stuff, you will be unimpressed with the cover songs they have done on Disc 1. It's just not the same Metallica sound regardless of James Hetfield's powerful voice as it was back when the Garage Days Re-Revisited $...LP came out. The songs on Disc 2 are a more authentic Metallica sound and a good collection to have, especially if you want to hear them as they were when they were at their best.
