Metallica have done better than this album.. yes there are great songs on this album like "one" and "Harvester of Sorrow". this album was poorly done as for the fact that they just had gotten Jason as the replacement bass player. metallica even said that this album could have been done better. the bass was really lacking as metallica didnt know Jason was to be permanent. I personally think Jason now-a-days can rot in hell for leaving metallica.. he was an awesome bass player. and to think he can hang with Ozzy...pppppffffff... Jason cannot and wont ever be able to hang with the immortal Ozzy!!! jason was metallica and forever will be metallica! yes for those who are wondering I like Cliff way better! cliff is one of the best bass players ever! Jason was great live! he had energy and drive that made metallica what they are today. yes metallica lost there huge drive and f*ck you up metal when cliff died but jason gave them another edge to there music which possibly made metallica better! those of you true metallica fans will hang on to those classic albums like "kill em' all", "Ride the Lightning", "Master of Puppets", and "the black album or Metallica". those albums were done with power and grace. metallica really knew where they were goin with those albums! Metallica today is great with the new bass player, Rob Trujillo! now Rob can hang with metallica and a great choice!
