The highly anticipated music video game hits retail shelves on Tuesday, November 20th for Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system.
Both nights (October 27 & 28) are now available at LiveMetallica.com. All proceeds from the sale of downloads from these two shows will go to the Bridge School.
Yes, we will be a part of the Live Earth CD and 2 DVD package that hits your local music store on November 20 in North America, November 19 in the rest of the world. Recorded and mixed by our very own Mike Gillies, the man who brings you all the shows on www.LiveMetallica.com, "Sad But True" will be included on one of the DVD's. The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions will launch on November 23 at a cost of $169.99. That package will include the game, one guitar, a mic and a drum kit.
Rhino Records will be releasing a four CD box set, "The Heavy Metal Box" including 70 songs released between 1968 and 1991. The collection will include two Metallica songs, "Whiplash," and "One," along with music from Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Pantera, Alice Cooper, Motorhead, Kiss and many others.
LiveMetallica.com will record both nights (October 27 & 28) and have them for you shortly after. All proceeds from the sale of downloads from these two shows will go to the Bridge School.
