I was really skeptical with this album before I heard it due to the knowledge that it would feature patriotic material which I was really sick of. I thought it would be sappy and fake like all the 9/11 tribute-like crap, which I couldn't see Manowar doing from the start. But no. The patriotic songs on this album are straight from the heart and is beaming with honor and pride. The rest of the album is full with fighting and Viking lore, which is a big plus in my book. I also thought that Eric Adams' voice was starting to break up on Louder than Hell, but his vocals are as great and powerful as ever. This album stole the podium from Triumph of Steel as not only my favorite Manowar album, but the greatest album ever!
