First and foremost let me say that this is an amazing record. Over the past 7 weeks, it has seldom left my CD player. I know a lot of "true" Manowar fans were a bit disappointed by this album, but let me tell you, you will not find a more devoted fan - and I love it. I've been a loyal listener of these guys for 18 years now and this is some of their finest work. True, I could have done without "An American Trilogy," and "Fight For Freedom" smells a bit too much like propaganda, but otherwise this baby smokes. The last 3 tracks are as good as anything they've EVER done. The opener, "Call To Arms," is destined to be a Manowar classic. So pay no attention to those who dislike this album. They're probably the ones who want more piano ballads like "Courage" anyway. Brothers and Sisters of True Metal will love it.
