Right off the bat I want to say that I love this record. It it perhaps the best thing Manowar has ever put out and that is saying a lot after 20 years. I've loved them since 1982's "Battle Hymns", and the talent is just so evident. True, there is an Elvis cover of the "American Trilogy" and yes, there is a portion of a Puccini opera, "Nessun Dorma", but you know what? Those songs are GREAT! Eric Adams has one of the finest voices on this planet, and the heartfelt patriotic feelings shown in "American Trilogy" and the fantastic "Fight For Freedom" ring true. They were touched by the events surrounding 9/11 and wrote what they felt about it. Good for them! This band is so versatile that they simply throw a lot of people off guard. Songs like "Call To Arms" and the title track and not to forget "Hand of Doom", "House of Death" and "Fight Until we Die" are vintage Manowar epics. No matter what anyone says, from this 20 year fan of Manowar, this is a terrific album, showcasing the great Manowar at their absolute finest....
