This album holds a lot of clout for me personally because it was the first "underground" album I took a chance on due to the cover art alone. At the time of this release i did not know that "battle hymns" was even released! This albums whole feel is awesome. Its almost like your in the cellar listening to them play live. Most would say its poor production value, but I beg to differ because when listened to VERY LOUD (which was their intent), it is beyond great. Songs like "Revelation", "Gloves of Metal" and "Hatred" just totally kick. I always thought that Manowar were best at their rawest and this album is perfect to bring you back to the 80's when this stuff was the real deal. may sound dated to some, but it is Still one of my all time greats. A must have.
