This classic is easily the best live record by Priest and arguably one of the best in the heavy metal genre. I use the term "live" because most of tunes sound better here than on the original record ("The Ripper", "The Green Manalishi") and there has always been a lot of speculation about the degree of studio tinkering.

For U.S. fans, this record meant an introduction to tunes from their second record (then only available on import) - 'Sad Wings of Destiny', as four of the original nine tracks were taken from this record alone. However, with this remaster, we are now treated to four additional tracks that could not fit on the original record - "Starbreaker", "Rock Forever", "Delivering the Goods", and "Hell Bent for Leather". For this reason, I have to say that this is the best of all of the recent remasters.
