Greatest Hits Lite...fine alternative to Metal Works

"The Best of JP" is a much less complete and expensive alternative to the bands 2 CD definitive collection "Metal Works". It showcases live tracks from the excellent "Unleashed in the East", some of their best 'biker metal'(Headin Out to the Hiighway, Turbo Lover) and some of their most commercial hits (Living After Midnite, Breaking the Law, Screaming for Vengeance). The band flubbed this disc just enough so as not to directly compete with "Metal Works" (I'll leave you to figure out what should be replaced with what) and ultimately leaves you wanting more, which is not what you expect from a greatest hits collection. For the price, it rocks - just not as hard as it could. Also recommended:'Screaming for Vengeance'; 'Unleashed in the East'; 'British Steel'.
