When compared directly to SWOD, 'Sin After Sin' falls short, it doesn't have that raw intensity and amazing vocals. That aside, SWOD is in a class by itself. This disc does contain some good tracks: 1, 2, 6, 7. The remaining tracks are weak by Judas Priest standards. The studio session drummer Simon Philips does his job admirably but he is clearly not a metal band drummer, he is far more polished and precise. The bonus tracks are fair. The sound quality however is very good, a very good remastering on this one. Not a killer cd and not one to spend a lot of time on, just average. If you want to hear the early days of Judas Priest, skip this one and get 'Sad Wings Of Destiny', it blows 'Sin After Sin' away.
