Oh man, is this one heavy cd. I recall the first time I heard it on vinyl, I was amazed then and it still is impressive after all these years. Sadly, Judas Priest never in my opinion topped this one. Rob Halford's vocals are incredible throughout the disc. The band plays with that debut-type-of-raw-intesity that never lets up. Not a weak track to be found. I have the RCA version of this title which sounds very good, I haven't heard this Koch version, I assume that it has not been remastered a second time but clearly it deserves to be given the red carpet treatment. Why CBS didn't buy the rights to this incredible debut is a mystery, we can only wonder what might have been. A must-have.
