Rocka Rolla is a cool, raw debut hinting at what the group would achieve on the far superior Sad Wings Of Destiny, the greatest metal album of all time. The sound is developing here and it is a good listen despite the almost demo production value."Diamonds And Rust" was not a part of the original LP, but it's included as a bonus track here. This is the version that appeared on Gull Records premature Best Of Judas Priest(a money maker on the back catalogue after the band went to CBS).This is still a great archive piece for those daring enough to delve into the great obscure, encrusted seventies relics.
