Painkiller features priest's best sound ever. productionwise, their latest two albums still dont hold a candle to this one, while in terms of musical quality, this is JP's greatest album to date. a new producer and a new, very innovative drummer helped the band welcome the nineties with style! the lyrics are like always...er...lousy at best! but we dont buy Priest albums, in search for spiritual enlightenment, do we, boys? the dual guitar attacks in here reign from high above, in the heavy metal universe. fast, furious, neat, screaming- for-vengeance, frosted cheeseball metal never sounded better.
