I first saw Priest in London in 88, and it was obvious then that Rob Halford and his mates were going through the motions, winding down to retirement. Since then, Halford's departure and the recruitment of Ripper Owens on vocals and Scott Travis as tub-thumper (replacing Dave Holland) have given this major British metal band a completely new lease of life. Listening to this 2-CD piece of superlative power, you'd never guess that three of the guys in the band are pushing 50. This live set, apparently untouched and unenhanced in the edit, is masterful metal at its outstanding best. Brilliant. Buy it. Now.
