Ripper Owens is good, no doubt, but as a big Judas Priest fan I just can't get over how GREAT Rob Halford is and how it's just not the same without him. And even though Ripper (Ripper?!) can almost hit all the notes from snarl to scream I'm left unsatisfied. And his standard-fare inter-song blather is pretty inane. "Are you ready for some heavy metal, are you having a good time?"...yeah whatever, where the hell is Rob?! The band sounds as good as ever, hitting all the right chords on all the legendary riffs and drums pound relentlessly, properly feeding my metal hunger. Buy this cd if you've got excess cash just laying around, otherwise try to find it at your local used record store.
