because jugulator did not dissappoint. Some of these reviews are embarrassing to read, because they are obviously from old fans who will never get over Halford leaving. I like Jugulator, and am NOT a priest neophyte (I have most of their albums on vinyl). What were all the nay-sayers expecting? If you had paid attention the last 12 years or so after Turbo (you want to talk about a bad album...) Priest has been swinging back onto the heavy end of the spectrum....Ram it Down, Painkiller, and now this. Ripper Owens is the *only* man for the job on vocals, and sounds a lot better than Rob did in his last days with the band. The dual guitars of Downing and Tipton carry the album for the most part and Scott Travis is great on Drums. Sure, Jug ain't another Sad Wings of Destiny, but any album that makes an old-timer like me start to air drum/guitar, can't be all that bad...
