Judas Priest was a big band for me when I was in my teen years when "Turbo Lover" came out I was disappointed and never really cared what they did after that album.When Rob left I really thought his "Fight" project was a step in the right direction(Heavy) and thought maybe he left Priest to return to an all out "rip your face off" style of music. Something Priest seemed to want to forget about. When they talked about finally getting it together and putting out a new album I really did not expect anything exciting....until I bought it and heard the incredibly heavy,crunching guitars blast through the speakers...WOW!!! Finally, Priest where they should be... HEAVY like we new they could and should be. The only negative thing I am going to say and this being the reason for the 4 star rating is,I just don't care much for the lyrical ideas.Great musically but find the song ideas a little "Juvenille". Gotta be better ideas than killer robots(Jugulator),or another song about Brain Death ,or "Abductors" that come at night.If they play with the same intensity and write more interesting lyrics for the next album it will be a guaranteed 5 stars from me...thanks for reading this.
