Lets deal with the cons first, the album as a whole IS indeed kinda cheesy, the lyrics lack at times and this is definitely not the judas priest i expected when i bought the album. Now for the PROs, this album kicks! Glenn and KK tear it up in a death metal/thrash style with the precision that theyre known for, ians basslines are pounding, and what surprised me the most is the drums! they resemble fear factory and slipknot but scott travis could tear them up drum wise. The "new guy" Ripper pulls the vocals off pretty good [seeing as how hes replacing the great halford], and this album overall just rocks. When i popped it in i was just floored by the sheer heaviness of the album. I dont even really like "old school" metal like this, im more into harder heavier stuff [slipknot, dry kill logic, dillinger escape plan] and this is just as heavy and hard as most of their stuff! favorite tracks, deathrow, bullet train, cathedral spires, 10 tracks all heavy, in short i love it, one of my top 10 favorite of all time. Its not the priest we all know and love but damn, its heavy, its technical and its a great album. BUY IT!
