I had the opportunity to listen to "Demolition" before purchasing it. Needless to say, the cash remained in my wallet. I really tried to love this cd, but just couldn't. The guitar playing is excellent, far better than Jugulator, but the compositions are monotonous and boring. The lyrics, unlike other comments, are quite good but are sung by the wrong person. Ripper Owens is talented but totally wrong for Priest. In fact, if you listen to "Resurrection", Halford doesn't even sound the same as his Priest days. As far as all the Glenn Tipton bashing, let me make a few points. First of all, Glenn Tipton is Judas Priest! He always has been and always will be. Since the beginning he has been the chief songwriter for 99% of their entire body of work. He is technically the finest guitar player in the history of metal and far superior to K.K. Downing. If you don't believe me, see them live or simply listen to a Tipton solo compared to a Downing solo. Glenn is one of the only metal guitarists to ever emerge with an amazing solo album entitled, "Baptizm of Fire", which should have been the "comeback" Priest album. Therefore, stop your bashing. None of you, including myself, have his talent for writing or playing. As far as "Demolition" is concerned, skip it and purchase "Baptizm or Fire" instead.
