This is great metal-to-the-pedal turbo-charged rock'n'rolla. Pity Rob can't be here for this revved-up Harley Davidson ride into Hell. But Priest have got the right idea: they're gonna keep on replacing the members as they get too old, with younger metalheads like Ripper Owen, and just keep going forever. I just think they shouldn't Americanize the band too much or they'll lose their adorable English charm. The next replacement should definitely come from Birmingham or the West Midlands - that place was a Dark Age battlefield and those people have got heavy metal DNA! The best songs on the album are Machine Man, One On One, Hell Is Home, Jekyll And Hyde, Close To You, Devil Digger, Bloodsuckers, In Between, Feed On Me, Subterfuge, Lost And Found, Cyberface, and - of course - Metal Messiah.
