The Preist Beast Still Rages On

To everyone who rips on Priest for getting a new vocalist and a modern sound... get over it... listen to the serious ear candy on this disc! Hell is Home, Jeckyll & Hyde, Subterfuge, One on One all make me want to beat up old ladies in the streets! I love it! Halford could not have gone where Ripper treads... no offense to Rob, as the old stuff still rocks, but Ripper RIPS! He had some big shoes to fill without a doubt, but he brought his own shoesto the party along with some stomping boots. As for the song writing: so it's a little sappy here and there... so what? i got one thing to say: Kid Rock.... the KING of Sap! This is way better than Kid Ego...oops i mean Rock. The guitars SCREAM! There are all of these little noises and fills and sounds hiding behind the main riffs... if you can't hear 'em...you better crank it! That's killer stuff right there...NOBODY else could swing it! Ian Hill still rocks, and yes now we can hear him loud and clear! No more can be said about Scott Travis... I'm suprised that his kit doesn't catch fire! In closing let me say that I have been a Priest fan for 20 years, and it just keeps getting better and better. Demolition is BY FAR the HEAVIEST Priest offering yet. Peace.
