Another Glenn Tipton Demolition Job

My favourite Priest CD's are Steel, Vengenance, Defenders, Painkiller and Jugulator, all different, all classic in my opinion. I bought Tipton's solo album looking for more of the same and was disappointed, fuzzy guitar and boring songs. I hadnt heard any songs off Demolition before buying it, I just knew alot of people didnt like it, I just hoped I would. Well I dont and I am really dispapointed, what we got here is Glenn's second solo album and it stinks. This stuff just isnt Priest, uninteresting riffs, stupid guitar effects and were are those classic dual guitar solos. The sound of the album has even taken a step backward with a screwed up guitar sound like on Glenn's album and just an overall very artifical plastic sound. Ripper and the guys just dont rip on this one, this is Glenn's baby and what he is into at the minute and it ain't pretty. If you want great modern heavy metal like what Priest should be doing check out Grave Digger, specifically Excalibur and latest self titled effort especially the latter for the great production/mix, it just demolishes Demolition.
