Judas Priest have a long history, spanning almost 30 years(!!), with a lot of good albums in their catalog. Some of my favorites are Sin After Sin, Stained Class and Screaming for Vengeance. What's interesting about the Priest catalog is that each album has its own unique feel. Demolition, their new recording -- and second with vocalist Ripper Owens, is a great addition to the varied Priest catalog. I'd have to say that I was quite disappointed with Jugulator. It kicked..., for sure, but it lacked good, catchy material. Demolition makes up for it with great songs, heavy guitars and great vocal work by Ripper. Heck, to hear "Hell is Home" is worth the price of the CD itself! Other great songs include: "Subterfuge," "Cyberface," "Feed on Me" and "Metal Messiah." The recording definitely has a different feel than the other Priest recordings. It's very modern, but also very heavy (which is "in" right now). I am very impressed with this recording; it's much, much better (and more inspired) than Halford's boring Resurrection recording.
