This is NOT like old Judas Priest, and it's not supposed to be. Those fair weather fans who just sit in their houses playing air guitar to "Breakin' The Law" all day are going to be disappointed... and rightfully so. This is a new beginning for the Priest. They sound almost like a completely different band now. This though, in my opinion is not a bad thing! This album is not a classic like "Screaming For Vengeance" was, but it's good enough to stand on it's own terms:

Machine Man- This opens with some wierd sound effects, kind of like the song "Jugulator", but all hell breaks loose soon after! One of the albums best songs, and this is one of the fastest, most brutal riffs Priest has ever attempted. 9/10

One on One- A nice rhythm, and a biting chorus. The highlight of this song is when Ripper screams bloody murder, and the guitar line finishes it by starting the solo. Good song. 7/10

Hell Is Home- Very cheesy on the lyrics side, but the music is still good. Not one of the album's best, but it's not bad either. 6/10

Jekyll And Hyde- Not one of my favorites at all. The lyrics are somewhat better than most on this album, but the song as a whole just doesn't deliver for me. 4/10

Close To You- The most real song here. A heartfelt "ballad" with good lyrics. One of the albums finer moments. 8/10

Devil Digger- No, I don't like this one. 3/10

Bloodsuckers- YEAH! This is the best song on this ablums! It's brutal, slightly melodic, PRIEST! 10/10

In Between- Pretty Good, not one of my favorites. 6/10

Feed On Me- Another great moment for "Demolition"! The lyrics are cheesy as hell, but that's okay! 9/10

Subterfuge- One of my favorites! I'm not really sure why though... 9/10

Lost And Found- Another slower tune, but not as good as "Close To You." 7/10

Cyberface- Ehhh, not my cup of tea... 3/10

Metal Messiah- This album ends with a bang! This song will become a Priest classic! 10/10

Overall, a very solid effort from the self-proclaimed Metal Gods!
